Threatened and priority fauna list
It is published twice a year in the spring and the autumn. Members contribute articles of interest to family historians with roots in the North of Ireland. In addition, when ing the Society or when renewing membership, members may register their interests either in the form of brief surname details or as a special query.
They may also register reciprocal research arrangements, by supplying details of the research they require and the research they will undertake in return.
The objective of the Society is to foster an interest in family history with special reference to families who have roots in the North of Ireland and their descendants, wherever they may be. The NIFHS is a voluntary, non profitmaking organisation, depending on the financial support of amateurs interested in family history and volunteer effort in running the Society.
The Society is not a research agency, although we do like to put people in contact with one another. It also publishes books and other collections of genealogical records.
Details may be found on the Society's website www. North Irish Roots.
